LIBERALARTS CENTRE

CANCELLATION & REFUND

Last Updated: May 2026

Thank you for enrolling with The Liberal Arts Centre (liberalartscentre.org). The Liberal Arts Centre is owned, operated, and managed wholly by Groundwork Ideas Project LLP (Registered Address: 18, Panchsheel Park, Panchsheel Enclave, New Delhi 110017). Throughout this Cancellation and Refund Policy, the term "Centre" shall explicitly mean and refer to The Liberal Arts Centre, which is owned, operated, and managed in its entirety by Groundwork Ideas Project LLP.

Because our educational programs, advanced seminars, and educational tracks feature strictly limited seating capacities and require extensive scheduling, faculty commitments, and upfront administrative infrastructure preparation, we maintain a clear, strict policy regarding registration commitments. Please review these terms comprehensively before completing your enrollment transaction.

Finality of Transaction

Once a student registration is confirmed and the payment transaction is successfully executed by our merchant servers, the enrollment cannot be cancelled, rescinded, transferred, or converted by the student.

Availability Variance

Enrollees retain sole responsibility for ensuring their technical, logistical, and structural availability for the entire duration of the course cohort prior to executing formal registration.

Forfeiture of Fees

Absence, partial non-attendance, technical disconnections, or voluntary withdrawal from a course, seminar series, or reading track does not entitle the student to any full or partial refund under any circumstances.

Schedule Adjustments

The Centre reserves the right to make operational modifications to ensure the delivery of our services. Minor adjustments to session timetables, lecture dates, or hourly schedules do not qualify for a refund, credit, or pro-rata adjustment.

Faculty Realignment

The Centre curates qualified alternative instructors and specialists to lead our academic modules. A change in the designated faculty member, moderator, or guest lecturer assigned to a course does not constitute a valid ground for full or partial refund claims.

Academic Requirements

The award of an official Certificate of Completion is strictly contingent upon the student fully satisfying the mandatory criteria detailed in the Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to: active prepared participation, continuous live video camera visibility during the entire duration of all lectures, and the timely submission of all prescribed written response papers or course projects.

Non-Award Policy

The withholding of a certificate due to a student's failure to meet these active participation, video visibility, or project deadlines shall never under any circumstances constitute a valid ground for a fee refund or adjustment.

Finality of Evaluation

In all matters concerning performance evaluation, participation standards, and the final decision to award or withhold a completion certificate, the joint evaluation of the course faculty and the administration of the Centre is final, absolute, and non-appealable.

Institutional Failure

A refund is only activated if the Centre is entirely unable to deliver or complete the scheduled delivery of a course cohort due to unexpected internal administrative constraints or structural force majeure events.

Pro-Rata Activation

In the exceptional event that the Centre is unable to run or finish a scheduled course module, a partial refund will be initiated for actively enrolled students, calculated strictly for the unfulfilled portion of the academic curriculum.

Calculation Framework

If a refund is triggered under Section 4 (Institutional Failure), the default calculation framework relies on a linear pro-rata basis mapped to the calendar weeks of the course. However, for courses designed with an intensive structure comprising more than one lecture per week, the model automatically reverts to a per-lecture calculation matrix to preserve absolute proportionality.

Formula A — Standard Weekly Matrix (1 lecture/week)

Refund Amount = (Total Fee Paid ÷ Total Scheduled Weeks) × Number of Weeks Remaining

Formula B — Intensive Lecture Matrix (More than 1 lecture/week)

Refund Amount = (Total Fee Paid ÷ Total Scheduled Lectures) × Number of Unfulfilled Lectures

Application Threshold

The Centre applies Formula A as standard. If an educational module or track explicitly schedules multiple distinct lectures within a single calendar week, Formula B will govern the transaction to ensure absolute precision down to the individual unfulfilled lecture session.

Remittance Channel

Approved refunds triggered under Section 4 will be initiated by our administration and routed back directly to the original payment source or digital channel utilized during the checkout transaction.

Fulfilment Notification

Following the formal administrative confirmation and execution of a refund, the official notification of the remittance transaction will be dispatched to the user's registered domain email address within forty-eight (48) hours.

Settlement Window

In accordance with standard merchant banking protocols and national payment aggregator operational guidelines (including Razorpay and Cashfree), the student should allow an additional five (5) to seven (7) working days for the refunded amount to be credited back to their bank ledger, UPI account, or card statement after initiation by our desk.
